Welcome to Living inside out Ministry
About
A desert, a waste place...we've all been there. A place where we just don't make a real connection with life. A turmoil within our deepest parts coupled with a secret knowing that we're really going through the outward motions of life in a very robotic manner.
I found myself in such a place-spiritually, emotionally, physically & geographically. I had an opportunity to relocate from California to Saudi Arabia. My initial thought was, there's camels there and it's all desert. But I was intrigued and excited so off I went. An adventure was in front of me. Little did I know the desert I found myself in turned out to be a true replica of the desert within me.
As I grew more aware of the desert, the waste place, of my own life, I stumbled upon an individual who was very unique in that she didn't seem to possess this same emptiness. She spoke of Jesus continuously as though she knew Him intimately and that He was very much alive to her and in her. She gave me a small mini-book concerning being born again. As I read this book God began to unveil to me that this desert place within me could be transformed into a lush green perpetual place of restful growth. I was particularly drawn to a section in the book that stated that when a person gets born again through surrendering their life to Jesus Christ that a spiritual exchange takes place from the inside out. I would receive His spotless, sinless perpetual life for my very messy, mistake ridden, colorful life.
After pondering this for a couple weeks I decided to take God up on His offer. I knelt down beside the bathtub in Saudi Arabia & gave my life over to God. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I reminded Him that I would be like that new born baby, no past, a new beginning, a fresh start. He could have my life and He would give me His. What an exchange! Although the desert was still outside it was no longer within me. He filled that empty hole inside of me with His Life, His Presence, His Fullness.
As I viewed how a kingdom operates through residing in Saudi Arabia I began to see that the Kingdom of God is Theocracy. To question Him or His word would be as fruitless as questioning the king of Saudi Arabia.
Although Jesus Christ has not yet set up His kingdom here on earth we know that one day He will and we, as His church, will reign with Him. If you want to live life through Jesus Christ, participate in His great exchange program. It is then that we begin to live from the inside out with fruit from God.
