A desert, a waste place. We've all been there. A place in our life where we just don't make a connection with real success. A turmoil within our deepest parts coupled with a knowing that even when we've had some small successes that perpetual success remains dormant and untapped.

I found myself in just such a place. Geographically, spiritually, emotionally and physically. A job offer was made available to my husband in Saudi Arabia. We took it thinking, yes, this will be exciting. Camels and a whole new intriguing culture. Right up my alley. So off we went. However, much to my surprise I took all the emptiness and desolation with me. But God had another plan. There I was living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia surrounded by desert within and without!

One day a friend of mine told me about a woman with whom she worked at The Corps of Engineers. She was quite unique in that she spoke about Jesus Christ as though He were still alive, vibrantly demonstrating Himself through common people. She gave me a small book by Kenneth E. Hagin about being born again. I read it and there it was; my lush, green, perpetual resting place of growth. Right in the middle of Jeddah, a city within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I pondered what I had read for a couple of weeks, but then I made a decision! It was an offer I couldn't refuse. A chance to start over. I did not at one time consider that the law of the land was very clear that it was illegal to practice any belief system outside of Islam. It was on a Tuesday morning around 9:30; I had knelt down at the bath tub and told God what I had read. I told him what I expected to take place. I surrendered my broken life to Jesus Christ. As I got up, I felt as though I had been a part of the most creative contractual transaction there ever was! I knew the desert within me had now become like the garden of Eden. I began my life there. I was truly born into The Kingdom of God. He placed His entire Kingdom within me; all right there, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Perhaps, with that in mind, you'll have a deeper understanding of what revelation this ministry name is based on. I had the opportunity to see visually, first hand how a kingdom functions. How a King operates. How exciting to know that my Father accepted me right where I was, in every manner.

My purpose here in the earth is to function as a King and to share the revelation that The Holy Spirit has revealed to me. The Kingdom of God is within you.
